The oldest boarding school in New England, the Governor's Academy has been proudly educating students in grades 9 through 12 for over 250 years. When the Governor's Academy decided to embark on construction of an addition to the field house and renovations to the gymnasium, Connolly Brothers was prepared to deliver value.

Connolly collaborated with The Architects Collaborative on the 40,000 square-foot facility, which provides superior quality sports and fitness spaces to the school's student athletes. Providing preconstruction and construction management services, Connolly developed and implemented extensive value-engineering concepts that successfully aligned the construction project with the school's budget, without sacrificing key project requirements.
